Wasn't it just spring? Seriously, where did the time go? Camp has come and gone, and now school is beginning. Summer isn't the same when you work through it. It doesn't bother me as much that it is over, except for the fact it means time is just going faster and faster.
Speaking of camp, it was wonderful. I missed Maddox terribly, and it was extremely hot, but it was great. We had a horrible storm on Sunday night. It of course flooded the whole place.
By Monday morning we could function, but it washed the bridge out into the place. It was fixed by the end of the day. My group was great. We only had 10-11 this year. Two didn't show up, and one left by Wednesday to go on vacation. But loved who we did have. And after being last all week, we ended up 5th! Ha, we beat 2 other groups who had 14 kids. It was definitely a nice way to end the week.
A Maddox update: He is now 6 month, almost 7 now. At his last check up he had another round of shots. These didn't sit well with him. He took them well enough, but was a little sick over the weekend. He went from sleeping full nights (9:pm to 7:am when we have to wake him up to leave for work), to waking up every 2 hours. Definitely a setback. Last night he did sleep 7-8 hrs again. *Fingers Crossed* that he is getting better. Here is one of the visits at camp he made. He was laughing at all the girls. What a flirt!
His stats are 22 lbs (95th+ percentile) and is 28 in (90th percentile). He is a large boy, but very proportionate. He is just perfect. His little hands and feet are so big, thick big, not long. I love kissing all over them. Going to get pictures done soon. I take a bunch, but family is wanting professional ones.
